Win both gold and silver medals
In October, aircraft model club representing our school participated in the model competition of primary and middle school students in the 15th Suzhou City Games. Suzhou City Games is held every four years, and it can be said to be the highest level of sports competition for primary and secondary school students in Suzhou. The competition was very fierce: only the top three can be awarded with gold, silver, bronze medals in each individual competition and the top six winners can get the award certificates.
We sent 18 players to participate in the competition. 9 of them joined in the three projects of "Endeavour, China Marine ship and Nanhu ship static model making" in the sea model competition, and 9 students participated in the four projects of "wooden hand throw aircraft, rubber band power model aircraft, umbrella wing aircraft competition and wing flapping aircraft competition " in the air model competition.
Professional training, after-school tutoring as well as teachers’ and students’ sweat paid off and we scored impressive results: we won 2 gold ,1 silver and 1 copper medals,1 sixth in the sea model project ,2 gold ,1 silver medals,1 fourth and 3 sixth in the air model project.
Chances are always for those who are prepared. In the preparation process, students kept on working hard, teachers gave their guidance, parents offered their support and the school leaders also provided their care and support. The school aircraft model club will maintain the initial heart in the future and create sound achievement again!
