SIP No.2 Experimental Primary School ushered in the 16th Scholarly Festival and the 5th Drama Festival. In order to promote the communication among family members and stimulate students' interest in reading classics, the fourth and fifth grades specially carried out the activity of "family books giving each other".
On the last day of September, it is the half-day activity of Scholarly Festival that the teachers and students of the whole school look forward to the most. Students from all families in grade five carefully prepared a favorite classic book for the students from their corresponding families in grade four, and asked a question according to the donated books. Under the leadership of the teacher, the children packed the books in advance and put them in the corresponding activity places of the family, such as the living garden, the opposite garden, the literature club, the little doctor's club, and the good looking platform. At the same time, each family set up a group of five people, and hid the questions in the designated place in advance. Some students put them in an envelope, some stuffed them into a plastic drift bottle, and some folded them into their own small crafts ... The students of the fourth grade families also formed a group of five people. In the afternoon, they arrived at the activity place under the leadership of the class teacher and the Chinese teacher. The children cooperated with the help of clues and completed the answers under the management of volunteers, and all of them got the corresponding classic books. In addition, many fourth-grade students also gave back their favorite books to the seniors and sisters in the fifth grade.
It is always felt that only paper books can make readers feel the taste of "scholarly". During the activities, children were filled with joy when they saw books, telling their thirst for knowledge and feeling the charm of books. Knowledge and love flowed in their hearts. On this day, the children of D2 felt the beauty of words while reading together. All families communicated with books as carriers, and realized their growth together.
