As an important way to carry out mental health education in primary schools, mental health activity class is an effective way to cultivate pupils' correct outlook on life and values. On the afternoon of June 25, 2020, organized by the Moral Education Department of SIP No.2 primary school, full-time and part-time mental health teachers in Grade 5 classes carried out a psychological education activity with the theme of "the pace of youth quietly approaching". This activity is one of the activities of school mental health month and the second experiential heart education class meeting held in our school this semester.

Puberty is the key period of rapid growth and development of human body. It is also the second peak of growth and development after infancy. During this period, both boys and girls, both inside and outside the body, have undergone many great and wonderful changes, becoming more and more like adults. The hormone secreted by puberty can cause mood fluctuation, which changes very quickly. In this period, it is very important to be close friends with classmates and be willing to make friends with classmates in this period.

In order to enliven the atmosphere, the teachers took all the students to do the warm-up game of "nose, ears and legs", then guided the students to explore the physical and mental changes of adolescence. Finally, taking the stories around them as clues, teachers and students discussed the possible impact of heterosexual communication and how to communicate to make themselves and the people around them get better development.

For adolescent girls, teachers vividly explained mainly from the girl's adolescent psychological characteristics, how to deal with the relationship between male and female students, how to establish self-confidence, self-improvement three aspects of detailed in order to let the children correctly understand themselves, understand themselves, grasp themselves. In the class, there were also 15 minutes of Scene performance, which showed how to get along with the opposite sex in different situations. Tell girls to improve their awareness of protecting themselves and cultivate their independent and upward personality charm from inside to outside.

Through the development of this psychological education activity, students have a further understanding of various physical and mental changes in adolescence, have their own thinking and harvest on the confusion and problems in the communication with the opposite sex, improve the cognition and coping ability of adolescence, better solve the puzzles and troubles encountered in their growth, which is beneficial to their healthy development.
