To further improve the quality of mathematics classroom teaching in our school, based on the teaching concept of "mutual learning and mutual promotion", on May 28, 2020, the second real school in the park organized all mathematics teachers to participate in the park's high-quality class observation and seminar activities...

 

This observation activity is divided into two rooms according to the different semesters. The mathematics teachers of grades 1-3 will observe in the future classroom, and the mathematics teachers of grades 4-6 will observe in the interactive classroom.

 

Teacher Chen Cong from our school also participated in the selection of this high-quality class. Since receiving the notice a month ago, Mr. Chen began to prepare carefully. During this period, students in the lower grades continued to postpone the start of school. Teacher Chen was once confused as to whether to change classes, so he prepared two classes at the same time. Opportunities are for those who are prepared. Based on an in-depth study of the teaching materials, Mr. Chen has accurate, reasonable, and complete target positioning, a smooth teaching process, reasonable teaching time allocation, and good teaching effects. Finally, he showed everyone a successful lesson. Teacher Chen attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' thinking ability. For children in the second grade, the third grade has a higher content of strategic thinking in problem-solving. Under the guidance of Teacher Chen, the children lay the foundation first, and then slowly build the steps step by step. At the same time, with Teacher Chen’s timely “support”, the children's thinking level steadily improved in this process.

 

After the observation, each mathematics lesson preparation group took this teaching and research activity as an opportunity to combine with our school's characteristic "Wise Learning Classroom" to discuss today's high-quality classes. Teachers talked freely about their thoughts, shared today's gains, and promoted common growth.

 

Under the collision of various thinking, teachers have got more inspiration and enlightenment and gained a lot from this cloud teaching and research. This online teaching and research session spans the time and space distance between schools maximizes the value of resource sharing and gives teachers more learning opportunities. In this context, I believe that in the future, our teachers will use what they have learned, more attentively, and better serve every student, so that they can enjoy higher-quality classroom teaching.
